The ASU Scholarship 2026, offered in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation scholarship program, is a prestigious, fully funded graduate opportunity designed for talented African students. Through this program, young African leaders will gain advanced skills in technology and sustainable innovation. Moreover, it equips them to apply these skills in real-world settings and lead impactful projects. In addition, participants will develop leadership abilities that enable them to address critical challenges across the continent. As a result, graduates are prepared to drive positive change and contribute significantly to Africa’s social and economic growth.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, Arizona State University (ASU) and the Mastercard Foundation will award 30 fully funded scholarships to eligible African students who want to pursue master’s degrees in the United States. This opportunity forms part of a five-year plan (2025–2030) aimed at training 120 young African professionals in technology-focused graduate programs.
This is a traditional 2-year, on-campus master’s program in Phoenix, Arizona, offering not only full financial support but also leadership training, mentorship, internships, and global networking opportunities.
