The ASU Scholarship 2026, offered by Arizona State University (ASU) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is a prestigious and fully funded graduate program designed for outstanding African students. This initiative provides talented young leaders from across Africa with the opportunity to pursue advanced master’s studies in the United States, while also equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to make a lasting impact on their communities.
Through this scholarship, participants will gain in-depth expertise in technology, sustainable innovation, and problem solving for real-world challenges. In addition, the program emphasizes leadership development, entrepreneurship, and professional growth, ensuring that graduates are prepared to tackle pressing issues and contribute meaningfully to Africa’s social and economic transformation.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, ASU and the Mastercard Foundation will award 30 fully funded scholarships to eligible African students. This opportunity is part of a five year plan (2025–2030) that aims to support 120 young African professionals in technology-driven graduate programs.
